First Christian Church exists to honor God by attracting and leading people to an obedient faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, therefore we recognize baptism and the Lord's Supper as two ordinances to joyfully obey and respond to. We also honor God by connecting individuals and families in meaningful relationships, developing them in worship, study, and service unto Christ-like maturity and love for one another, equipping and empowering them as Christians for leadership and service in this New Millennium.

Author David Upchurch will be here THIS WEEK to lead a seminar on
Grandparents as Disciple-Makers
on Saturday March 28th, from 9 am to Noon
David’s book, The Disciple Making Grandparent, co-authored with Daniel McCoy, is available on Amazon and at Renew.org. The counsel they give for grandparents is also helpful to godparents, to aunts and uncles, and really to anyone who seeks to have a steady godly influence on some younger folks in their life. David Upchurch will also be preaching and teaching for us on Palm Sunday Morning.
